Accessibility
Updated October 13, 2026
Our aim
We want YardOn to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, larger text or a magnifier. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we've done
- Every form field has a visible label, and every button says what it does.
- You can use the whole site with a keyboard. A "Skip to content" link appears first.
- Text and buttons meet contrast guidelines, and tap targets are large enough for fingers.
- Images have text descriptions. Error messages are announced to screen readers.
- The site respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
Known limits
Tracing your lawn on the map needs a finger or a mouse. If that doesn't work for you, choose "Type the square feet instead" and enter your numbers. Your plan works the same way.
Tell us
If anything on YardOn is hard to use, tell us and we'll fix it or help you another way. Reply to any email from YardOn and we will take care of it.
